The Caller brings knowledge and expertise to the program through behind-the-scenes creativity and planning. It is all done in readiness for the dancers to come, to enjoy, and have fun through movement with music and dance.

Introductory events traditionally occur in September so please check back regularly. Through blogging on this site, my goal is to keep you up-to-date with various opportunities for learning to modern square dance and/or call dances.
Solving a puzzle on the fly!
Modern Square Dancing is a little like solving a puzzle on the fly. In the square dance you move as a team with seven other people whom you’ve possibly never met before, but with the Caller, you’ll be weaving and moving in surprisingly beautiful patterns, dancing, and successfully returning to your “home” place in the square!
