New Dancers, New Callers

Introductory events traditionally occur in September so please check back regularly. Through blogging on this site, my goal is to keep you up-to-date with various opportunities for learning to modern square dance and/or call dances.

Solving a puzzle on the fly!

Modern Square Dancing is a little like solving a puzzle on the fly. In the square dance you move as a team with seven other people whom you’ve possibly never met before, but with the Caller, you’ll be weaving and moving in surprisingly beautiful patterns, dancing, and successfully returning to your “home” place in the square!

Opportunities!

Whether interested in learning how to Modern Square Dance, improving or growing existing skills, or even learning to dance to call, there are possibilities and resources available to help meet anyone’s interests.
